Our washed lots come straight from the Welle Magado washing station in Hokko Woreda, Bensa. Ripe, handpicked cherry is delivered by around 150 neighbouring smallholders, pulped the same day, fermented, washed in our channels and dried on raised beds under constant hand turning.
Grown on loam soil at 1,900 metres with an average temperature of 18ºC, these coffees develop the clean, bright and floral cup Bensa is known for.
